Terms and Conditions of Hire

Timeless Florals

 

This two page document sets out the terms and conditions of a hire agreement between you (the Hirer) and Timeless Florals. Timeless Florals will not confirm a booking until the Hirer has returned a completed and signed booking form and in doing so agrees to the following terms and conditions as set out by Timeless Florals.

  1. All items are supplied on a HIRE basis only and remain the wholly owned property of Timeless Florals
  2. To secure a booking the Hirer will be required to pay a £100 NON REFUNDABLE booking fee at the time of booking.
  3. To book Timeless Florals a minimum spend of £500.00 is required. If you choose to reduce your flower order before the wedding the minimum spend cannot be reduced below £500.00
  4. Hire items may be finalised 8 weeks prior to the wedding date, no more than 25% of any hire over the £500 minimum spend can be removed after booking.
  5. The final balance of the order is required no later than 30 days prior to the start of the hire period.
  6. The standard hire period is for 3 days. Additional hire may be agreed with Timeless Florals subject to availability. Please note: additional charges may be incurred for extended hire periods.
  7. At the commencement of the hire period upon collection / delivery of the order, a security deposit of £100 via BACS will be required before items will be released to the Hirer. This deposit is fully refundable upon the safe return of all items hired in the condition they were hired.
  8. The security deposit lodged with Timeless Florals at the time of hire will be held for the period of hire and will not be used to gain interest or profit.
  9. At the time of collection / delivery, an inventory will be signed by the Hirer. A checklist detailing the agreed inventoried items will be supplied to the Hirer, for use if required when checking items are collected for return following your event. When hired goods are returned / collected, the inventory will be checked in agreement with the Hirer prior to the security deposit being returned.
  10. During the agreed hire period, the Hirer takes full responsibility for any loss or injuries sustained to any persons or property through the usage of hired goods. The Hirer also takes full responsibility for loss or damage caused to the goods hired.
  11. If any items are damaged or lost, the Hirer acknowledges that the full market retail value of that item will be charged. Recompense for any damages or missing goods will initially be met through Timeless Florals retaining all or part of the security deposit. The Hirer also agrees to meet any cost difference in the event the cost of damaged/lost items exceeds the sum of the security deposit.
  12. The Goods hired to the Hirer are provided with the understanding that they are to be used by that Hirer alone and will not then be lent, hired or used by any third party. It is also understood that you (the Hirer) are solely responsible for the use and care of all goods during the period of hire, and understand that the goods are not covered by any insurance maintained by Timeless Florals.
  13. Collection and return of goods is in person ONLY and at a time agreed with Timeless Florals. Courier services will not be accepted due to the delicate nature of many of the items available to hire.
  14. Delivery / collection can be arranged at an additional cost with Timeless Florals. Mileage is charged at 40p per mile from Timeless Florals address (NR29) plus labour. This total cost for delivery/collection will be agreed and finalised at the time of booking.
  1. Cancellation: all notices of cancellation MUST be made in writing (letter or email) to Timeless Florals via the contact details at the bottom of this document and must be signed by the Hirer. When a cancellation notice is received with 30 days or more notice before the start of the hire period, a refund of any monies paid (EXCLUDING THE £100 NON REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE) will be issued by Timeless Florals. Where cancellation notices are received with less than 30 days notice prior to the start of the hire period, the Hirer agrees to forfeit 50% of any monies already paid to Timeless Florals.
  2. Disclaimer: should items that have been hired become damaged / unusable prior to your event (e.g. damaged by a previous Hirer) Timeless Florals will make best endeavours to replace with suitable alternatives with consultation with you (the Hirer). Should suitable replacement items not be available, the Hirer will not be charged for those items.
  3. Timeless Florals reserve the right to use your event for publicity and marketing purposes on social media/our website including photographs taken at the venue.
  4. Your final wedding price includes a one hour complimentary consultation. Any further appointments are liable for an additional charge of £20.00 per hour. Excessive amendments to quotations and changes to quotations could result in an additional admin charge being placed onto your bill.
  5. Timeless Florals reserves the right to refuse a booking. Timeless Florals also reserves the right to cancel at any time if any of the above terms and conditions are not adhered to.
  6. Timeless Florals reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
